A GROUP of youngsters from a Droitwich primary school have raised £150 for charity with a cake sale.
The five students from year two at Cutnall Green First School sold a variety of cakes on Friday and donated the funds to Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Tia Hill, Isobel Stringer, Isabelle Hardiman, Mae Horton and Imogen Jelfs came up with the idea themselves and even created posters to put up in the school.
Sharon Hill, mum of seven-year-old Tia, said: “They didn’t need any prompting at all, they set it all up themselves.
“They chose the charity and got people to make cakes.
“I am so proud of them all.”
