CHILDREN from Chawson First School will each get to give their dads or other special person a Yorkie bar today (Sunday) to celebrate Father’s Day.
The chocolate have been provided by the Chawson First School Association – the school’s parent and teacher association.
It follows on from Mother’s Day where each youngster gave their mums or someone special a bunch of daffodils.
Trudy Purser, the school’s reception teaching assistant, said: “It’s fantastic that the children will have something to give their dad or male role model to say ‘thank you’ for what they do.
“It’s a fantastic gesture from the Chawson First School Association which do so much for the school.
“And it enables us to thank the parents for everything they do.”
