A YOGA day at Droitwich’s Westacre Middle School helped children deal with anxiety and create a better well being for the students and staff.
The youngsters have been taking part in yoga lessons since the start of the year to improve their overall heath and participated in International Yoga Day last Wednesday.
Deputy headteacher Catherine Doolin said: “The yoga sessions have given the children the help to combat any anxiety and improve their overall well being .
“We have seen a positive impact on the children’s attitude to learning and our yoga club is becoming very popular.”
The school has now given up to ten minutes a day to involve simple yoga relaxation exercises for the staff and students.
