Deaf and hearing impaired Droitwich residents invited to drive special panel

Droitwich Editorial 4th Sep, 2017   0

RESIDENTS across Droitwich are being invited to join a research panel into hearing loss, writes Tom Banner.

The charity Action on Hearing Loss (Formerly RNID) is calling on people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus to help influence the charity’s work.

Panelists will participate in a number of surveys as well as one-to-one interviews and focus groups to help guide the policies and strategy of the charity going forward.

Dr Roger Wicks, Action on Hearing Loss director of policy and campaigns said “We would be grateful if Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Rubery residents would get involved in our panel, which we hope offers a great opportunity to feed in their first hand experience of hearing loss and highlight everyday issues that will help shape our future work, supporting people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus to live their lives to the full.”
