House in Wychbold raided by police subjected to 'closure order' to stop drug-related anti-social behaviour

A HOUSE in Wychbold which was raided by the police has now been subjected to a ‘Closure Order’ meaning no one can enter the Cross Furlong premises, including those living there, for three months.

The order was granted at Redditch Magistrates Court under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

It was granted because of the level of drug-related anti-social behaviour associated with the property which is now empty and has been boarded up.

Specialist officers from West Mercia Police’s Task Force raided the property on September 8, using a chainsaw for quick access.Following that, investigations were carried out by Droitwich Police into drug activity there.
