PRIMARY school in Cutnall Green is celebrating after receiving a ‘good’ Ofsted rating.

Inspector Mark Cadwallader praised Cutnall Green C of E Primary School leaders for maintaining the ‘good quality of education since the last inspection’.

The inspection, carried out on September 19, also found pupils ‘benefit from the wide range of enrichment activities that are available’ and they ‘value close relationships the strong community offers’.

Head of School Emma Rowe said: “The children, staff, parents and governors are extremely proud of our school and we are all delighted that Ofsted have recognised this and our determination to continue improving the provision for the children of Cutnall Green.”

This was the school’s first Ofsted inspection since it converted to academy status in 2014, joining the Rivers C of E Academy Trust.

Kate Brunt, CEO of Rivers Trust, said: “We are delighted with the Ofsted result at Cutnall Green.

“This is a wonderful result for the school and shows the dedication and hard work that leaders and staff have to ensure that every child fulfils their potential.

“The school has received many accolades over the past two years including an ‘outstanding’ church inspection and gaining ‘primary’ status from the Department of Education.”
