STAFF and children at Ombersley Endowed First School and Nursery came to school dressed as superheroes today (Friday) to raise funds for Children in Need, writes Lewis Glennon.
As well as paying to dress up as characters such as Batman and Superman, funds have also been raised by a cake sale and a stall selling Pudsey Bear memorabilia.
Students are also being encouraged to donate loose change to the cause.
Their hard work also led to a visit from Pudsey himself earlier this week.
Headteacher Caroline Moore said the pupils were delighted to meet the famous bear.
”The children were thrilled that Pudsey Bear was able to visit.
“We raise money for Children in Need every year, so we’re delighted that Pudsey came to see us this year.”
The head also thanked staff, children, and their families for their support.
