DROITWICH Community Choir will perform a free concert on Saturday, December 2, at the town’s Salvation Army Community Hall.
The choir, which was founded in 2012 and now has more than 60 members, will be joined by the Pro Fide Brass Band for an evening of Christmas and light music.
Everyone is welcome to go along and listen at 6pm and refreshments will be available.
The Droitwich Community Choir provides free concerts at many events during the year, taking part in the Droitwich Food and Drink Festival, St Richard’s Festival, SaltFest and other events.
Many of Droitwich’s care homes enjoy visits from the choir, and, when the Christmas lights have their official switching-on ceremony, the choir leads a service of carols in St Andrew’s Church.
When Russell Watson was on his UK tour the choir accompanied him in Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre.
The choir is open to all who love singing a varied repertoire of songs and there are no auditions.
