STAFF at a Droitwich opticians have thanked the generosity of local people who have supported the Operation Christmas Child campaign.
The team at Specsavers on St Andrews Square appealed for people to donate Christmas gifts for international relief charity, Operation Christmas Child.
They collected enough items to fill some 150 shoe boxes which will now be sent onto needy children around the world.
Store director Emma Singh, said the staff were delighted and amazed by the response.
“Thank you to everyone who supported us, this is a great scheme which will hopefully bring a smile to children who may otherwise not have received a Christmas gift.”
