THERE will be a festive concert at 7.45pm on Saturday, December 9, at Droitwich’s St Nicholas’ Church to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The annual event has been organised by The George Spinner Lodge of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, which is continuing to promote the order’s objectives to help the needy, and assist national and local charities.

Vocal Score will be performing popular songs and solo pieces in the first half and festive melodies and carols in the second.

All proceeds from the evening will be presented to representatives from the Worcester branch of The Multiple Sclerosis Society at the end of the night.

Tickets, which include refreshments, will be £5 and are available from members or on the door.

The order’s secretary Trevor Kings said: “With the passing away of members and the ever-increasing ages of the few remaining, this could possibly be the last of the concerts, which started in 2007, and has allowed the Lodge to donate over £12,000 to worthy causes.

“The Lodge thanks all who have supported our efforts.”
