TWO people have been rushed to hospital following a crash on the M5 northbound near Droitwich this morning (Thursday).
Police, two ambulance crews and two paramedic officers were called to the two-car crash between J5 and J4a of the M42 at 8.40am.
One driver, a woman in her 50s, suffered chest and back pain and received pain relief before being sent to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
One passenger, a woman in her 70s, suffered chest pain and a minor leg injury, she was given pain relief and was immobilised on a neck and spinal board.
She was also sent to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Another man involved didn’t require any treatment.
Two lanes were blocked between as a result of the crash which caused 30 minute delays but have since been cleared.
