PERFORMERS over the age of 50 are being urged to audition for a new production at the Norbury Theatre.
‘We’ll Always Have Paris’ by Jill Hyem will be performed by the Norbury Players during the first two weeks of May.
Set in modern day Paris, the feelgood story with laughter and tears follows the lives of three women of a certain age who gravitate to the city in the search of romance.
Theatre director Mike Matthews is inviting anyone interested to visit the Norbury Theatre from 7.30pm onwards on Tuesday or Thursday, January 23 or 25, for a chat about the script.
He said: “We are looking for five people to get involved in the project, there will be some French speaking but we will be on hand to help.
“This will be my 50th show and it will be lovely to see some new members.
“It is great to sit at the back of the theatre, watching the play in action and seeing the audience’s reaction.”
