CASH has been stolen from an ATM at a shop in Droitwich during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Thieves forced entry to the front of the Blake Avenue store at about 4am and proceeded to take an amount of cash from the ATM.
The offenders are believed to have left the area in a black Ford Ranger and a silver Audi A6 estate.
Inspector Suki Gosal of West Mercia Police said: “We take all reports of this nature seriously and a thorough investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances around this incident.
“Officers arrived quickly at the scene and are continuing to conduct house to house enquiries and forensic examinations in the area.”
Police urge anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the area over that past few days to call 101 and quote incident number 47s of 24 January.
