Two quad bikes stolen from Hadzor

Droitwich Editorial 22nd Feb, 2018   0

TWO QUAD bikes were stolen from Middle Lane, Hadzor, between 9pm on Monday and 11am on Tuesday.

One of the bikes was a green Yamaha Big Bear quad bike and the second was a red one.

It follows a warning from police about an increase in quad bike thefts, especially about rural Worcestershire.

Owners are being urged to make sure quad bikes are secured and in a locked and alarmed building and keys are removed.

The police also suggest a heavy duty chain and padlock is used to anchor the vehicles and tracking devices are fitted.

Owners should take photographs of the quad biles and note down serial numbers if not registered.

Larger vehicles should be parked in front of buildings housing quad bikes and they can be marked so they are identifiable if stolen and then recovered.

Anyone with any information on quad bike thefts should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
