TRIBUTES have been paid to Carole Bryer who helped raise millions of pounds for AgeUK Herefordshire and Worcestershire, writes Anikah Imran.
Carole, who lived in Worcester, worked for the charity for 16 years.
During that time, Carole helped hundreds of people locally to live better lives and helped them to make ends meet.
She began as a volunteer but quickly moved to be a information and advice team member in 2003, specialising in benefits information.
The staff and volunteers at Age UK have expressed their condolences to Carole’s friends and family.
Phillip Talbot, the CEO of Age UK H&W, said “We were all very proud to work with Carole as she showed so much experience and quality of work.
“She helped so many older people and by example championed the value and worth of working in later life.
“We shall all miss her.”
