SEVERAL town organisations have received funding from the Droitwich Lions Community Fund.
The £400 grants have been awarded to Droitwich Community Choir, Ombersley Play Action Group, ‘Let’s Play Tennis’ and Gloverspiece Community Farm School.
New Droitwich Mayor Coun Chris Bowden attended the event where the cheques were presented to representatives from each of the groups.
Lion Bill Phillips said: “This has been a successful venture once again and we would like to thank The Standard for supporting and publicising it.”
