KAZOKU-KAN’s Rob Alloway claimed a silver medal at the High Wycombe Masters.
The head coach of the Droitwich-based judo club had a tough battle in the final and unfortunately lost to a well executed foot sweep.
This was his last event before heading to Glasgow to compete in the European Masters Championships next Friday.
“The event was always planned to be a warm up for the Europeans and I was looking for a fitness test and hard battles to get ready,” said Alloway.
“This is what I got and the silver medal was a bonus.”
Alloway also graded up to his third Dan black belt on the same day, putting on a great display of techniques and completing his Kata for the prestigious grade.
Kazoku-Kan train every Wednesday at 7pm and Friday at 6.30pm at Physique Fitness on the Berry Hill estate in Droitwich.
