AFTER 102 hours of work by 40 volunteers the annual summer maintenance work on the town’s churches has been completed.
The parish thanks all those who took part in the four work parties.
More then a third of the attendees were at a church other than the one they usually worship at.
There are significant projects which need professional resources but thanks to the maintenance rounds that figure is kept low and churches are well kept.
The next round of maintenance work party events will be when the leaves fall in the autumn.
