DROITWICH Stroke Club has received a £250 cash boost by the town’s Lions Ladies.
The women handed the funds personally to Mayor Coun Christine Bowden who has selected the club as one of her charities of the year.
Bill Phillips from Droitwich Lions said: “It was a particular pleasure for the ladies to present this cheque as the Stroke Club was started by Droitwich Lions not long after our club was founded in 1985.”
