THE BRITISH Red Cross is urging people from Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich to take part in the Miles for Refugee event throughout September, raising money for the charity’s work with refugees nationwide.
The organisation is looking for participants to strap on their Fitbit, and walk, swim, cycle, run or even skate to reach their target from 22 to 2,700 miles in this unique challenge.
Entry to the event costs just £10 with a sponsorship target of £100.
