THE WORCESTERSHIRE Skills Show, the largest of its kind in the county, will take place at Droitwich’s Chateau Impney Hotel from 3.30pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday, March 13.
More than 5,000 young people are expected to attend to meet employers and education providers from across the Midlands.
A total of 46 schools and colleges will be attending throughout the day to visit more than 100 businesses.
The event will be divided into six key ‘zones’ which will group together like-minded businesses from different industry sectors including science, technology, engineering and maths, tourism and leisure, professional services and creative industries.
The Worcestershire Skills Show has built up reputation for its engaging and exciting activity-based stands which help to bring the world of work to life for young people.
Students can also access to the very latest labour market information, to highlight the careers opportunities available.
The Skills Show is delivered by the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Worcestershire County Council, through The Careers and Enterprise Company’s national scheme.
It is aimed at highlighting the many exciting careers opportunities available to the younger generations, as well as supporting the LEP’s ‘Inspiring Worcestershire’ campaign to encourage more local employers to support the development of their future workforce.

Robin Walker, MP for Worcester, said: “This week in Parliament it is National Apprenticeships week.
“I have long been an advocate for increasing the quality as well as the quantity of apprenticeships, which the Government has made a cornerstone of the skills revolution.
“Providing our young people with the best start to get on in life and have a rewarding career is an area close to my heart.
“Apprenticeships can give young people this opportunity to learn a valuable skill while earning at the same time, which is why I have consistently championed them.
“I am sorry that due to parliamentary commitments in London, I will not be able to attend the skills show but I will be meeting with the Careers and Enterprise Company, and the local LEP in due course.”
