A WARNING has gone out to Droitwich shoppers after a distraction theft at the town’s Morrisons supermarket.
The incident happened around 11am on Friday morning when a woman was approached by a man asking for directions to the hospital.
When he had left she realised her purse had been taken.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
People are being warned to be aware of who is around them when they are in the town centre and be on their guard if approached or someone invades their personal space.
