OFFICERS investigating the murder of 80-year-old Droitwich resident, Desmond Wooding, have charged a second man.
Mark Mason, aged 55, of Plough Lane, Tibberton, near Droitwich has been charged with assisting an offender.
He will appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on August 1, 2019.
Adam Mason, 32, was arrested and charged with the murder of Mr Wooding, who was found dead at his home on Vines Lane on Monday, June 24.
Mason will appear at Worcester Crown Court on August 12.
During the investigation Supt Damian Pettit said the pensioner had been going about his normal business the day before he was found dead.
