THE AUTHOR of the Chocolate Box children’s book series Cathy Cassidy will be at Droitwich Library from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Tuesday, August 20, talking reading extracts and her life as an author.
There will also be story walks taking place at Worcestershire’s libraries throughout the school summer holidays to keep children entertained.
Coun Lucy Hodgson, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “It’s great for our libraries to be able to welcome children’s authors and poets to Worcestershire this summer.
“It ties in really well with our efforts in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.”
