A SIX-A-SIDE football tournament organised by Droitwich car parts giant Koito Europe raised a bumper £1,400 for the Primrose Hospice.
The firm, which makes combination light clusters for the motor industry, held the event as part of a campaign to help the local community.
More than 200 staff and their families turned up for the tournament and were rewarded with a great day out which also featured plenty of other activities and a barbecue as well as the cut and thrust of the football.
Such was its success that plans are already afoot to run a similar fundraising event next August.
