Children invited to dress as Roman soldiers to celebrate Droitwich's past at this year's Salt Fest

Droitwich Editorial 31st Aug, 2019   0

CHILDREN are being invited to dress up as Roman soldiers for this year’s Droitwich Salt Fest which takes place next weekend.

There are no Roman re-enactors at Salt Fest this year, but the town’s Probus’87 group has been busy creating costumes for Roman soldiers aged about six to 12 years old, to parade in and march round Vines Park.

Pictured are David Morrison’s great grandchildren, Aston and Harleigh Stokes, ready for the Parade.

If there are any other children who would like to join in, their parents are being urged to call Sandy Laird on 01905 773620.
