IT’S ALL change in the Mid-West Premiership, after a week of point deductions for several sides in the Droitwich Spa Pool League.

Masons Chalked Up remain top of the pile following their 6-3 triumph over previously unbeaten Salt ‘n’ Asbo’s to maintain their 100% start.

Barley Mow are the only other side to win six from six so far, although they now sit six points behind the leaders despite beating Star & Garter 5-4 after a five-point deduction for missing a meeting.

In all, six teams were docked five points as a result of not showing at the monthly league meeting.

The Hop Pole are up to fourth after winning the final two frames to edge Pillar of Dreams 5-4, while Rifle No Mans leapfrog Never In Salted into fifth after running out 6-3 winners.

A 7-2 victory for The Doverdale Arms was the biggest margin of victory of the night, beating Wessie Wanderers to rise to seventh.

Elsewhere, DWMC were forced to come from behind to beat The Dovey 6-3, the losing team won the first two frames but still remain without a win in the division.
