A BAKERY in Tanzania will be the subject of a talk by Margaret and Eugene Schellenberg which takes place at in Droitwich at 7.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
The presentation, at the Old Library, Ombersley Street East, follows the pair’s trip to Ifakara in Tanzania.
Margaret and Eugene decided to help set up a bakery, providing staple food to the local population, particularly in the event of a failing harvest.
It has been successful not only in producing a large supply of loaves on a daily basis but also in providing meaningful employment.
The event has been organised by Droitwich Spa Civic Society.
