PEOPLE from across Droitwich are being urged to volunteer their skills to help clean up the town’s churches and grounds with the latest programme of autumn maintenance working parties.
The first takes place between 10am and midday at St Andrew’s on Tuesday, November 12, with the next one a week later on November 19, also from 10am to midday, at St Nicholas’.
On November 25 the group moves on to St Augustine’s – also from 10am to midday and the final one will be between 9.30am and 11.30am on December 7 at St Peter’s.
The organisers say the maintenance parties are an important part of keeping churches in good condition, with tasks to suit all abilities.
People can just turn up to lend a helping hand.
