A FITNESS instructor has organised a Christmas Fayre in Droitwich next Saturday, November 30, as part of her fund-raising campaign for her first London Marathon in 2020.
Kelly Tidbury from Home from Home Fitness is hoping for a good turnout at Newland Hurst, Newland Lane, next Saturday where there will be more than 15 stalls selling Christmas gifts, cake and coffee.
Most of the items come from local businesses and Father Christmas will also be making an appearance.
Kelly, currently running 5k-a-day for 30 days, is hoping to raise £2,500 for Children With Cancer UK before she takes on the 26.2mile course in the capital in April.
More than £300 has already been collected.
She said: “I have ran half-marathons before but never a full one.
“My clients have been great and really generous with their donations.”
Her group nominated Kelly for a Webbs local heroes event which she and her family attended earlier this month.
The event next Saturday runs from 11am to 3pm.
