WEBBS, which employs 370 people at its garden centres in Wychbold and Hagley, has received a prestigious award in recognition of the way it looks after its staff, writes John Tait.
Awarding the company with a ‘level one certificate’ Worcestershire Works Well, which runs the scheme to support businesses with their health and wellbeing, said it was very impressed with the range of schemes Webbs had in place and praised the ‘committed management team’.
Webbs’ owner Edward Webb said: “As a family-run business, we recognise how important the happiness and wellbeing of our employees is in the workplace.
“We take the mental health of all our staff very seriously and there is a wide variety of support available for everyone.”
