A BROKEN down van was stolen from Droitwich while the owner was waiting for a mechanic to attend to it.
It happened in Hanbury Road between 2.30pm and 6pm on Saturday.
The van went into ‘limp mode’ which occurs when there is a problem with the vehicle’s computer system.
It was locked and left in a layby and when the owner returned – and the mechanic had not yet gone out to it – it had been stolen.
