Changes to Sunday rail services between Worcester, Droitwich and Birmingham

TRAINS will not run between Droitwich and Worcester on the next four Sundays while engineering work takes place.

The maintenance began yesterday and will be carried out every Sunday until August 2.

Buses will replace trains between Stourbridge Junction and Worcester Foregate Street / Shrub Hill and will call at all stations except Hartlebury where there will be no Sunday rail services.

There will also be buses on the Birmingham New Street to Hereford route, between Bromsgrove and the Worcester stations (Foregate Street and Shrub Hill.




Trains will be running between Hereford and Worcester Foregate Street, and between Stourbridge to Birmingham Snow Hill to Dorridge / Stratford-upon-Avon

Those travelling from Hereford / Worcester to Birmingham, are are advised to use rail replacement services to Bromsgrove and change there for train services to Birmingham New Street.


On Sunday 19 July, Sunday 26 July, Sunday 2 August, trains will not call at Worcester Shrub Hill.

Trains between Birmingham, Worcester, Great Malvern and Hereford will run to an amended timetable.
