A NEW face will be greeting visitors to Droitwich Heritage Centre when it reopens at 10am on Tuesday, August 4.

Former teacher Catherine Finn joins Sarah Davies as joint heritage manager and, after taking up her role at the start of the lockdown, cannot wait to get started.

Sarah said: “She has come to us full of enthusiasm and both of us are really looking forward to seeing people here again.”

Catherine has already hit the ground running, creating a ‘History in the Making’ exhibition featuring people’s photographs and memories of life during the lockdown.

Only parts of the museum are open at the moment, there is a one way system to enable social distancing and perspex screens have been installed.

After Tuesday the venue will be open between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to midday on Saturdays.

Sarah added: “Droitwich is a fantastic town and as things reopen it will be great to see it buzzing again.”
