A DROITWICH landlord is focusing his efforts on home food and drink deliveries to get his business through the lockdown.
Simon Berry from the Gardeners Arms said the option was a Godsend during the previous closure – he delivered 35,000 meals in four months which ensured the pub was on a financially sound footing to reopen.
Simon, who has extended his delivery menu, said: “We had some really good feedback from people and without the deliveries we would have been finished.”
The pub offers a range of food from traditional British fare, including Sunday roasts, to Italian, Greek, Indian, Thai and Chinese.
