HOUSEBUILDER Redrow has found that 56 per cent of adults in the West Midlands believe their broadband speed is the most challenging aspect of working from home.
Redrow, which is currently building The Orchards in Droitwich, says it’s made people reassess what facilities and services they want in their next big move.
The additional costs of being at home for greater periods of time, such as elevated household bills for utilities, was revealed to be the second biggest challenge.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director at Redrow Midlands, said: “This has been a year like no other, with lockdown completely transforming our day-to-day lives and our perception of what really is essential.
“That’s certainly the case for future home owners in Droitwich and beyond – their needs have changed, and so have their priorities.”
The Orchards is a sought-after development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
