THE CULTURAL Recovery Fund took the amount handed to Worcester causes during the pandemic to more than £1.2million.
The £145,915 handed to the Worcester Arches project is the fourth largest grant handed out in recent months from the Government.
Worcester’s historic Cathedral received £241,624 last month while arts bosses at Worcester Live Charitable Trust were handed £240,000 in October.
A further £190,000 was received by the Cathedral while the Canal and River Trust and Museum of Royal Worcester were handed £143,720 and £107,275 respectively.
The eight grants given to the city so far also include £96,454 to Museums Worcestershire and £50,000 to Dancefest.
