DETECTIVES have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to following reports of a sexual assault in Droitwich on Thursday, April 22.
Police said a woman in her 70s was walking her dog along a footpath running from Blake Avenue to Witton Avenue at around 1pm when she was sexually assaulted.
The attack was allegedly carried out by a white man in his late 20s or 30s. Police described him of stocky build with a dark brown bushy beard, wearing a beanie-type hat, sweater, green shorts, converse-style shoes and carrying a small rucksack.
Detective Sergeant Jim Bryce said: “We would like to speak to the man pictured, as it’s believed he may have information which could assist with enquiries.
“I would ask again that if anyone has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area during the day, to please get in touch.”
