DROITWICH drivers have been told to slow down after officers carried out a speed enforcement operation in the town this morning.
They were positioned on Ombersley Way in a bid to clock drivers blatantly breaking the speed limit.
During the action, nine drivers were issued with warnings and two were given penalties.
Speeding incurs a £100 fine and three penalty points on the driver’s licence.
It is considered one of the ‘fatal four’ by traffic officers – along with not wearing a seatbelt, drink and drug driving and using a handheld mobile phone at the wheel.
