Droitwich Police out targeting 'speeding hotspots' in response to residents' concerns

Droitwich Editorial 17th Jul, 2021   0

DROITWICH Police have been out and about this week targeting speeding motorists in ‘hotspots’ across the town.

Officers have responded to residents’ concerns.

On Wednesday PC Hopkins and PC Edmunds were in Tagwell Road.

As well as speaking to people about their speeding concerns, they also spoke about other community issues.

A number of drivers were spoken to about breaking the speed limit.

The day before, PC Hopkins and PC Edmunds were in Westwood Way.

As well as speed checks, they also undertook a ‘community walk’ to speak to residents about their crime concerns.

On that day no speeding tickets were issued and the officers thanked drivers for staying within the designated limts.
