A MAN was rescued from the Droitwich Canal in Vines Park around 7.45pm on Sunday night.
An ambulance, two paramedic officers and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended, along with police and fire crews to rescue the 47-year-old.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Our crews found the man – who was intoxicated – in the water.
“After rescuing him we left him in the care of paramedics.”
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said the man was treated at the scene before being taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
