A HOLM Oak evergreen tree has been planted in Droitwich’s Copcut Park as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC).

The tree was donated to Droitwich Town Council by county councillor Tony Miller, the authority’s cabinet member with responsibility for the environment.

The tree was accompanied by a commemorative sign, providing details about the QGC which was started to mark

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and is now nearing its final stages.

The Mayor of Droitwich Spa, Coun George Duffy, joined Coun Miller for the planting and dedication ceremony.
