DROITWICH’S Dorset House Nursing Home has been named in carehome.co.uk’s annual Top 20 awards.
The awards recognise the top 20 rated care homes in each region of the UK based on the reviews of residents and their families, with Dorset House featuring in the West Midlands category.
The care home has been rated as a 10 out of 10, leading to it winning the award for the sixth successive year.
And staff celebrated with residents with a get-together that involved delicious cupcakes decorated with the award logo.
Home Manager Karen Johnson said: “We’re delighted to win a Top 20 Award for the sixth year in a row, thank you to all our staff for their dedication.
“It means so much to us that this award is influenced by the personal reviews of our residents and their relatives.
“Our residents are the centre of all we do here at Dorset House, and it is fantastic to be recognised for the dedicated care we provide”.
