ONE WEEK TO GO- Droitwich's Charter market returns next Friday

Droitwich Editorial 14th Apr, 2023   0

THE WEEKLY Charter Market returns to Droitwich next Friday, April 21, with a grand opening set to take place from 9am.

There will be lots of local traders and a huge variety of stalls selling items including DVDs, records, jewellery, fruit and veg, fresh meat, clothing, home fragrance, cakes, artisan bread, jams and chutneys and lots more.

Bluebell Events, run by Dave Biddle and Chloe Ford, was chosen by Droitwich Town Council to run the market which will be opened by Mayor of Droitwich Spa Coun George Duffy and Town Crier Edgar Harwood.

Dave said: “We have got over 23 stalls so a little something for everyone.”

The market will run every Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Bluebell started Evesham Market in July last year which has since gone from strength-to-strength and it is hoped Droitwich Charter Market will also flourish and thrive.

The previous Droitwich Charter Market was immensely popular and only closed because the operator retired.

For more on the charter market, call Chloe on 07309 403369 or search for ‘Evesham and Droitwich Markets’ or ‘Bluebell Events’ on Facebook.
