THE DROITWICH singer who made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008 when he was just 11 is performing two concerts in Worcester.
Charlie Green, born and bred in the spa town, wowed the audiences and judges, including Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan, with his big band and swing numbers and, following the TV show, got to tour the world.
He even got to support Jimmy Osmond and the Osmond brothers.
This Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20, Charlie will be back at The Swan theatre, performing his ‘In Full Swing’ concert – his first gig in Worcestershire since 2018.
Charlie will be accompanied by a 17-piece Big Band, performing some of his favourite swing songs and be accompanied by his special guest – the hilarious Barry North.
