A WEEKLY play group at Westlands Community Centre is helping families and youngsters have somewhere to enjoy thanks to £1,500 of funding.
The cash has been provided by community chest funding from Platform Housing Group.
The group focuses on providing age-appropriate themed fun for Droitwich youngsters, including the King’s Coronation, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Spring, and Bee Day.
The funding has allowed play leaders to create a safe environment for the group, which has led to a rapidly rising attendance.
The group is run by the National Lottery-funded project group Moving Forward.
