FOUR Droitwich businesses are among 38 others shortlisted for the annual Worcestershire Tourism Awards.
This years awards – in partnership with VisitEngland Awards of Excellence – saw a record number of entries progress to a judging stage where industry professionals will decide the winners alongside a highly commended category.
Drotiwich based businesses nominated include Churchfields Farm for small visitor attraction of the year, The Hadley Bowling Green for small serviced accommodation provider of the year and pub of the year.
National Trust site, Hanbury Hall has been nominated for large visitor attraction of the year and All’Angelo’s was shortlisted for the taste of Worcestershire award.
Winners will be announced at the annual black-tie event, hosted at Ombersley Court on March 15, 2024.
The awards celebrate Worcestershire’s tourism sector which includes hotels, attractions, pubs, restaurants, glamping/camping sites, self-catering accommodation and much more.
Councillor Marc Bayliss, cabinet member for economy, infrastructure and skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: “The Tourism Awards is now an established event which rewards and celebrates our business community.
“The shortlisted businesses demonstrate the quality of offering for potential visitors and the national influence that Worcestershire has for the wider visitor economy.

All Worcestershire winners will be put forward to the national VisitEngland Awards of Excellence, with the chance of being shortlisted among the best in England.
