A DROITWICH pub owned by Samuel Smith brewery – infamous for the controversial and unpopular rules they impose on customers – has recently boarded up its windows.
The Fox and Goose pub in Farmers Way, Droitwich has unexpectedly closed only a year after reopening.
When the pub reopened under new management, strict rules were imposed on customers preventing them from using their mobile phones or swearing.
These are rules which the pubs owner, operator – Samuel Smith brewery – are infamous for instructing their appointed managers or licensees to enforce.

Customers claimed the pub had previously closed in 2019 after the breweries owner, Humphrey Smith, overheard a punter swearing in the venue.
Alex Savage, 69, and partner Ana Hale-Askew, 23, had then taken over management of the pub before it closed.
Neither a spokesperson for the pub or brewery has not been available for comment.
