DROITWICH Arts Network is hosting a poetry competition to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio.
The First Folio is the first collected edition of William Shakespeare’s plays, which were collated and edited by Droitwich legend John Heminge and Henry Condell seven years after the legendary playwright’s death.
The competition will be judged by local author and member of DAN, Alison Jean Lester who has kindly donated the prize.
Entries are welcome from all age groups and will close on November 18.
Prize giving will take place at DAN’S Hub in St Andrews Square, Droitwich on the morning of November 25.
Entrants must put their name and contact details on the back of their work if submitting on paper, or in the covering email.
Email [email protected] or deliver your entry to the Hub.
