AS ALWAYS, Christmas is about families and friends celebrating a message of hope for a brighter future – no matter what our backgrounds or beliefs.
This is a time to embrace our togetherness, tolerance and understanding.
With Christmas on our doorstep we know that with it comes certain challenges for families trying to cope with ever increasing costs of living.
We are also mindful of families in other parts of the world who are having to live through conflict on an unimaginable scale.
We are particularly grateful and fully supportive of the wonderful volunteer organisations we have in our community, who give their time and effort to help others throughout the year, not just at Christmas.
Let us also remember the dedicated staff in the public and emergency services, police, fire, ambulance, hospitals and care homes who will be working throughout the festivities to keep us safe.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and may 2024 bring love, peace and a safer, healthier world for us all.
